Buoyancy based subsea equipment installation and retrieval tool

In 2011 Udeco designed, fabricated and shallow water tested a deep-water subsea buoyancy installation andretrieval tool arrangement for the client FMC (end user was Woodside Petroleum).

The tooling arrangement installation intended used for installation and retrieval of smaller of subsea assemblies such as caps and similar. The scope also included preparation of the relevant procedures. The tool assembly included subsea weight, subsea buoyancy, balancing chain and rigging (dymena rope, shackle, links and ROV hooks).

Currently, by combining the Ubag system and Ufloat system assemblies + rigging, Udeco can provide similar tooling arrangement for rental. Such arrangements will be available on relatively short notice.
